Surrounding area
The station is surrounded by a number of small stores and restaurants such as Denny's and Gold's Gym, although surrounded by a predominantly residential area. Tsujidō also provides access to Shonan Institute of Technology, Shonan Seaside park[1] and outdoor pool and is about 20 minutes' walk from the beach.
There is a stretch of road to the beach called 'surfers road' as surfers take this route by bike in the mornings. To the hill side of the station there is a bus station and a large construction site set to add more modern housing and more living facilities to the area.
