The Keiō Line (京王線 Keiō sen) is the 38 km long main line of the Keio Corporation in western Tokyo, Japan. It runs from Shinjuku, Tokyo, to the suburban city of Hachiōji. The Keio Line is part of a network with interchanges and through running to other lines of the Keio Corporation: the Keiō New Line, Keiō Sagamihara Line, the Keibajo, Dōbutsuen, Takao branch lines and the different-gauged 1,067 mm Inokashira Line.

History
The Shinjuku to Chōfu portion opened in 1913, and the extension to Hachiōji was completed in 1925.
Rapid service
Five types of rapid services are operated on the Keiō Line, along with local trains.
- Local (各駅停車 Kakueki Teisha) or Kakutei (各停) for short. Until 2001 it was called Futsū (普通): L
- Rapid (快速 Kaisoku): R
- Commuter Rapid (通勤快速 Tsūkin Kaisoku): CR
- Express (急行 Kyūkō): Ex
- Semi Special Express (準特急 Juntokkyū): SSE
- Special Express (特急 Tokkyū): SE
