Kakio Station (柿生駅 Kakio-eki?) is a railway station on the Odakyu Odawara Line in Asao-ku, Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan

The station has two side platforms and two tracks.

1 Odakyu Odawara Line Westbound (For Sagami-Ono, Hon-Atsugi, and Odawara)
2 Odakyu Odawara Line Eastbound (For Kyodo, Shimo-Kitazawa, Yoyogi-Uehara, Chiyoda line Ayase and Shinjuku)

History

  • 1927 - The station opens
  • 1946 - Promoted to Semi Express stop
  • 1948 - Promoted to Sakura Semi Express stop
  • 1960 - Promoted to Rush Hour Semi Express stop
  • 1977 - The use of the trunk line is discontinued
  • 2004 - Promoted to Section Semi Express stop
  • 2007 - A temporary bus terminal is built by the south gate
